About us

UNIQUE, CUSTOM

Pixel quilts are magic, they are my therapy, the way I focus and bring myself back into the present and stop stressing. I love every part of the pixel quilt process.

About Us

Hello You!

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the interwebs.
My name is Dee and i’m a Brit that now lives in Oklahoma (its a long story) I have been a quilter for 18 years, but it is only since I found pixel quilts, that I have become everso slightly obsessed.
After discovering the magic of pixel quilts, Dee embarked on a long journey of creating her own system of designing them, in an effort to one day share the pixel quilt love.

A Bit More About Me!

Mama to Maddy and Josh and Wife to Jason, Dee has had a long creative journey that started when Maddy was born in 2005.
With a desire to create clothes for her new baby, Dee taught herself to sew on a little secondhand machine that she picked up at an estate sale. Weeks into using her machine and seeing the skipped stitches and frustration Dee was experiencing, Jason took her to Tulsa sewing machine shop – B Sew Inn where she got her first new(er) sewing machine!
Since then, Dee has never looked back and is still an avid B Sew Inn customer, where she has bought all of her subsequent Babylock sewing machines (and she still has the 20+ year old embroidery machine that was her very first!)
Dee is now a happy owner of not only regular sewing machines, (The Babylock Soprano and Babylock Chorus) but also her very own long arm – a Babylock Coronet, which she is still learning!

Dee

Head of Quilts
Dee is the driving force behind pixel quilts after her 18 year long journey of quilt making became an obsession.
Chief of Chicken
OG of the pugs, Bella is a little pug from Wales that is now living her best life in Oklahoma. Not too keen on the summers, but very keen on the food, Bella can often be found sitting on any fabric Dee is needing to use.
General Overseer of Snacks
Rescue pug Winky joined the family as a foster in November 2021 and never left. She can be a bit anti-social with new people, but is very food motivated, so she is just one snack away from being your new bff.
